YPC Erie cannot exist without the generous support of our donors. In fact, less than 10% of YPC Erie's annual budget is covered by tuition costs. Your tax-deductible contribution to YPC Erie benefits Erie's children by providing tuition scholarships, purchasing music and uniforms, and creating performance opportunities throughout Erie and the region of NW Pennsylvania. Your gifts also enable young people to travel and share their talents with others, representing YPC Erie within our region and beyond. Why can't I make my check payable to YPC Erie?

Although your check is payable to Penn State, please be assured that your entire, tax-deductible contribution will go directly to the Young People's Chorus of Erie. YPC Erie is an official outreach program of Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. As such, YPC Erie benefits from having access to the accounting infrastructure of Penn State. Contributions to Penn State University are tax-deductible, thereby making it unnecessary for YPC to establish its own independent status as a non-profit organization. Can I make a contribution by credit card?

Yes! To make a gift by credit card, simply click here and follow the instructions for "Online (Credit Card)" giving. Make sure you specify "YPC Erie" as the program to receive your gift under "Additional Information." Corporate Donors

Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC):
Through the Corporation for Penn State, YPC Erie is an eligible participant in the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. EITC enables companies to receive substantial tax credits in exchange for contributions to the YPC.
